Turtle Bay are joining the festival with some fun extras for families, including activity sheets for children and a special “Fairy Cake Shake” created especially for the Storytelling Festival. Visit Turtle Bay.

About the Festival

The Middlesbrough Storytelling Festival celebrates the power of storytelling in all its forms, spanning literature, music, dance and more. Gather round and enjoy events being held across Middlesbrough from 24 June to 1 July 2026.

As part of the festival, a full day of events and activities will be held in Middlesbrough’s Town Centre on Saturday 27 June.
